We’re continuing down the line of classic Slipknot members by paying tribute to the band’s percussionist, backup vocalist and art director, Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan (aka #6).

Clowns have always been creepy, but Crahan’s creepiness resides somewhere in between Stephen King’s 'Pennywise' and John Wayne Gacy. Shawn commits to his character with more dedication than any of his bandmates, truly becoming the Clown once the mask goes on. Crahan will even refuse to sit in the same spots Clown sat while he’s unmasked.

You’ll see Clown making various victims extremely uncomfortable throughout this Loud List. He stalks a female crew member in chilling black and white footage before ensuring he’s got an interviewer’s full attention before continuing to give his time to the reporter.

Crahan may be the most emotional Slipknot member as well. He’s always willing to get deep, namely speaking of how he wished he had spent more time with his father before his passing. This led to Crahan’s two-hour rule, where he chooses to curtail selfishness for two hours each day.

We’ve got some exclusive Loudwire footage in the compilation as well. Crahan gave us a tour of Slipknot’s full stage setup in 2015, pointing out the various components which could caused serious damage or death. He also explained the gruesome story behind conceptualizing the “maggots” nickname for Slipknot’s fans.
