2013 Rock Allegiance Tour With Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains + Airbourne: Initial Dates Revealed

This summer promises to be a scorcher regardless of the weather and that's because the 2013 Rock Allegiance Tour will be providing an incendiary rock show for fans across the country. The trek, sponsored by Monster Energy, features a U.N. of hard rock, with Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains and Airbourne making up the bill. Now, the first round of dates for the tour has been announced.

The dates that have been unveiled run from an Aug. 24 show in Twin Lakes, Wis., at the Shadow Hill Ranch Festival, though a Sept. 28 at the Brooklyn Waterfront in Brooklyn, N.Y. However, more dates are expected to be announced shortly.

"The fans have made our North American visits thus far this year great fun and truly memorable," explained Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen. "We are looking forward to headlining Monster Energy's Rock Allegiance festival tour this summer and sharing the stage with HIM, All That Remains and Airbourne."

Danish superstars Volbeat are touring in support of their recently released album, 'Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies,' which enjoyed a Top 10 debut earlier this spring. They'll be joined by Finland's masters of love metal, HIM, who just released their 'Tears on Tape' album earlier this month. U.S. rockers All That Remains are supporting their 2012 effort, 'A War You Cannot Win,' which spawned the chart-topping single 'Stand Up.' Australia's Airbourne round out the bill, with their third album 'Black Dog Barking,' due May 21.
