The countdown is on to the 2016 Journeys Alternative Press Music Awards and even if you can't be in Columbus, Ohio, you can still catch some of the action. That's because the organizers have teamed up with Amazon Music's Twitch channel to offer a live stream from the event.

This year's ceremony will take place Monday, July 18 from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, hosted by All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat. The musical lineup for the show includes A Day to Remember, Babymetal, Judas Priest's Rob Halford, Of Mice & Men, Papa Roach, Beartooth, Mayday Parade, Andy Black and many more. In addition, you can look for members of Underoath, Pierce the Veil, Motionless in White, From Ashes to New, The Word Alive, Trivium, I See Stars, Stitched Up Heart, Killswitch Engage, Holy White Hounds and more making guest appearances. And Marilyn Manson will be the night's Icon Award honoree. Plus, you can look for Every Time I Die's Keith Buckley and New Years Day's Ash Costello doing red carpet duty as the bands enter the venue. So this is an event not to be missed.

"Collaborating with an influential and ground-breaking company like Amazon on the official live stream for the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards is going to amplify our show unlike ever before," said Mike Shea, founder and CEO of Alternative Press. "Since our first meeting, the Amazon team has shown a deep understanding of the Altpress community, so being able to work together with them, as well as our friends at Twitch, Monster and Journeys, packs a powerhouse of a punch. Now music fans worldwide will be able to view the AP Music Awards as all the excitement unfolds in real time."

So be sure to tune in Monday, July 18 at 7PM ET. Head over to www.amazon.com/apmas or www.twitch.tv/amazonmusic to watch and learn how to get the stream via your iPhone, Android, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Chromecast, Fire TV and Nvidia Shield applications.
