The fourth Rise Above Festival took place earlier this month in Bangor, Maine, and 10,000 fans were rocked by the likes of Disturbed, Volbeat, Alter Bridge, Killswitch Engage and organizers Seether, among others.

The festival's aim is to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention. It's named after the Seether song 'Rise Above This,' which frontman Shaun Morgan wrote as a message to his brother, who took his own life.

Disturbed were the night's headliners, playing a mix of favorites like 'Prayer,' Stupify' and 'Down With the Sickness' alongside new cuts like 'The Vengeful One,' 'The Light' and their hit cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 'The Sound of Silence.'

Proceeds from the event will benefit SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education), a leading not-for profit organization that raises awareness and educates the public about mental health and suicide prevention. Even if you weren't able to make it to the show, you can still contribute to the cause by clicking here or bidding on auction items here.
