Slowly but surely, life is returning to normal for Lamb of God. Having recently revealed a North American tour for May and June, the band has now spelled out the dates for their first major European trek of 2013. These will be the group's first shows in Europe since frontman Randy Blythe was recently cleared of involuntary manslaughter charges for an incident in the Czech Republic.

Blythe visited with the family of the deceased fan who died from a fall at one of the band's shows before he left the Czech Republic. At the time of his exoneration, Blythe said that he hoped not to return to Prague for some time, but stated, "This has nothing to do with this city, the people who live here, or the Czech Republic itself at all. This is a wonderful place, & many people have been kind to me. Not a single soul here has been rude or mean to me at all, nor done me any harm -- in fact it is quite the opposite. I have grown to love this city, for it is a marvelous, magical town." While the Czech Republic is not on the tour schedule, many other European cities are.

Historically, Lamb of God have played Europe's festival season in June, but this will be the first time the band has ventured into some of the late summer festivals that Europe has to offer. Among the highlighted stops are the tour opener at the Resurrection Festival August 1 in Viveiro, Spain, Germany's Wacken Open Air festival, the U.K.'s Bloodstock Open Air and Belgium's Pukkelpop Festival. The trek wraps August 18 in Paris, France.

Meanwhile, Lamb of God are also finalizing some of the details for their upcoming Metal on the Mountain Retreat. ESP Guitars has come on board as a sponsor for the event, and they're making available the ability to purchase LTD electric guitars at a discounted price as part of taking part in the music retreat. In addition, ESP has donated a brand new Willie Adler Warbird signature model that will be awarded to one of the campers on the final day of the retreat. All five band members will sign the instrument before handing it off to the winner.

The Metal on the Mountain Retreat is scheduled for July 15-19 at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, New York. The music week will allow "campers" to meet the band's members, take part in clinics with Mark Morton, Willie Adler and Chris Adler, join songwriting sessions with band members, watch the world premiere of Lamb of God's feature film, go on motorcycle rides with John Campbell, build fires with Randy Blythe and enjoy the evening jam sessions.
