Rise Against brought their road show to Los Angeles Tuesday night (Sept. 16) for the first of a two-night stand at the Wiltern and gave fans an energetic and fully rocking show.

The group, currently promoting their latest album, 'The Black Market,' immediately brought up the energy with their blistering opening performance of 'Ready to Fall.' All four members decked out in black took the stage, while giant flashing letters spelling out R-I-S-E served as their backdrop. Meanwhile, there was a visible amount of pogoing going on in the crowd as Tim McIlrath belted out the opening song.

The band got off to a blistering start with 'Give It All' coming second in the set and McIlrath clearly feeling the energy by kicking off the song with an impressive riser jump. By the third song, 'Re-Education (Through Labor),' the crowd was fully into the show, even taking over the opening line of the track. One by one, Rise Against worked through some of their most popular hits. 'The Good Left Undone' had fans singing and clapping along. The recent single 'I Don't Want to Be Here' fit perfectly in with their other standouts and 'Prayer of the Refugee' took the energy to a higher level. 'Audience of One' and 'Satellite' brought the body of the show to a rousing conclusion.

For the first of two encores, the group went acoustic with McIlrath and Zach Blair strumming along to 'People Live Here' as McIlrath's vocals echoed throughout the Wiltern walls. Blair then exited with McIlrath left to lead the audience through the band's classic breakout hit, 'Swing Life Away.' Finishing out the night, the band returned to close the show with 'Survive' and 'Savior.'

Supporting Rise Against on this tour are Radkey and Touche Amore. Radkey opened the show, pulling from their punk roots to deliver hard-driving beats that got the early-arriving crowd cheering and clapping along. 'Out Here in My Head' opened the night, pulling the audience in, and tracks such as 'Cat & Mouse,' 'N.I.G.G.A. (Not Okay)' and the set closing 'Romance Dawn' electrified the audience.

As for Touche Amore, they provided some variety to the evening offering a more atmospheric set with some screaming vocals. They took the stage to the moody yet heavy 'Gravity, Metaphorically,' setting the tone for their performance. Frontman Jeremy Bolm bounded about the stage with unrelenting energy as the group rocked through such standouts as 'Anyone / Anything,' 'Home Away From Here' and 'Is Survived By.'

The Rise Against / Touche Amore / Radkey tour still has plenty of shows left. See their remaining U.S. dates at this location and check out our photo gallery from the show below.
