AC/DC have just announced that their new album will be titled 'Rock or Bust,' and arrive on Dec. 2. However, the news is bittersweet, as the legendary rockers have also revealed that ailing guitarist Malcolm Young will not be returning to the group in any capacity.

The band's follow-up to the mega-selling 2008 album 'Black Ice,' will boast 11 new tracks, including the song 'Play Ball,' which will be used as part of TBS' Major League Baseball Postseason campaign. The tune will be heard beginning Sept. 27 and throughout TBS' airing of the American League playoffs.

'Rock or Bust' was recorded in Vancouver, Canada, and is being produced by Brendan O'Brien and mixed by Mike Fraser.

AC/DC have also revealed that they will tour extensively in 2015, but also have announced that the ailing Malcolm Young "will not be returning to the band." The group had previously stated that Malcolm would be taking a break from the band, but this is the first word of his permanent departure from the legendary outfit. In his place, Stevie Young, nephew to both Malcolm and Angus, will hit the road with AC/DC. Stevie also plays rhythm guitar on the new album. While it is known that Malcolm's condition is serious, details of his ailment have not been disclosed.
