AC/DC vs. Alice Cooper – Best Live Band, Round 2
When it comes to putting on great live shows, there are very few acts that rival the concert legacy amassed by the two bands in this Devil Horn Region second round matchup.
Aussie rock legends AC/DC are known for rocking crowds with their blistering guitar licks, Brian Johnson's instantly recognizable voice and a killer set list with songs that fans know and sing along to by heart. And when it comes to playing to a crowd, there are few better than Johnson and guitarist Angus Young. After besting Motorhead in Round 1, AC/DC advance to face their next opponent.
And let's just say that Alice Cooper will be no pushover. The original shock rocker has been known for his awesome theatrical performances that have included such stage props as a guillotine, electric chairs and lots of fake blood. But behind the visual aspect, there's a career catalog of songs that has resulted in Cooper's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. And after a first round victory over Rob Zombie, Cooper advances to face AC/DC.
So who will it be? Will you vote for the thunderstruck rockers from down under AC/DC or the super duper Alice Cooper. You can vote once per hour through the deadline of Tuesday, July 21 at 10AM ET.
