The competition to find the best live band in hard rock and metal is just under way, but two of rock's most beloved acts are already battling it out in this Round 1 matchup in the Devil Horn region.

On one side, you've got AC/DC, which immediately brings to mind visions of Angus Young in his schoolboy uniform kicking across the stage while Brian Johnson, decked out in his traditional cap, delivers those instantly recognizable vocals with every ounce of power in his voice. And while the band has experienced a couple of lineup changes in recent months, the sheer power of their songs remain.

But as striking an image as Young and Johnson give, is there any more recognizable force onstage than Lemmy Kilmister? Decked out in his familiar hat and belting in his gravelly weathered voice, there's little doubt that you're at a Motorhead show. Moreover, guitarist Phil Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee have helped Lemmy keep the Motorhead legacy alive both on record and onstage over the years.

So who will it be? Do you think AC/DC is the better live band or does Motorhead rock your world? Vote for your favorite live act up to once per hour through the deadline of Tuesday, July 14 at 10AM ET.
