Since his 2010 departure from manning the sticks for Dream Theater, drummer Mike Portnoy has dedicated his time to the new project Adrenaline Mob. The band have just released a video for 'Undaunted,' the first single off their upcoming debut album, 'Omertá.'

Adrenaline Mob formed last year when guitarist Mike Orlando approached Symphony X vocalist Russell Allen about beginning a new project. Having just left Dream Theater, Portnoy immediately jumped on board. The band spent much of 2011 recording 'Omertá.'

Portnoy recently sat down with Noisecreep to share his excitement for his future plans for Adrenaline Mob. "I get the feeling that Adrenaline Mob is going to be the one up and running and touring our asses off because it's just a very live-oriented band," claims Portnoy. "I miss the road. 2010 was insane, I spent the whole year on the road between Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold and Transatlantic. 2011 was a nice break, I mean I worked my ass off but it was a lot of studio stuff so I was able to be home for most of 2011. I'm itching to get on the road for sure."

The band recently announced the departures of guitarist Rich Ward and bassist Paul DiLeo due to prior commitments to other bands. No replacements have been officially announced.

Adrenaline Mob's debut full-length is set for release on March 13.
