There has been plenty of speculation lately on Slipknot's new members, but as of yet the band has yet to confirm the identity of their new drummer and bassist. However, the rumor that Jay Weinberg may have taken Joey Jordison's place behind the kit gained further credence thanks to Against Me! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace.

Grace worked with Jay Weinberg in Against Me!, but the drummer split from the band on less than amicable terms. Grace found out just like the rest of the world that Weinberg was leaving when he announced it on Twitter. After hearing the rumor that Weinberg was taking up with the masked rockers, Grace tweeted the following

After the initial comment gained some interest, Grace laid out a series of tweets revealing why she felt about the drummer as she does. Here are a few of the allegations:

Weinberg, the son of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg, had a similar bridge-burning exit from Madball after a brief stint with the band in 2010, with frontman Freddy Cricien calling out the drummer for his character.

As stated, the drummer is only rumored to be part of Slipknot at this point, but with their new album and tour approaching, a confirmation of the man behind the kit is expected in the near future. In the meantime, Slipknot's new bassist is believed to be Alessandro ‘Vman’ Venturella.
