"Red sky at night, sailors' delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning." The age-old adage has helped many at sea forecast the weather, prepare accordingly and brace for incoming storms, but what do you do when there's an "Alestorm" coming? You party! Or at least that's what this music video from the pirate metallers tells us!

"Alestorm" kicks off with an enthusiastic accordion melody (played on the keyboard) as members of the group stir from their slumber outside, lying in dirt, Brushing themselves off, they confidently walk a dirt road as a crushing rhythm takes over. Eventually, they happen upon a music venue, The Barrel, and wander in to see a group of little people onstage.

Hitting the bar for some swill, the chorus of the song aligns itself with the action unfolding in the video, as the refrain of "Rum, beer, quests and mead / These are the things that a pirate needs / Raise the flag and let's set sail / Under the sign of the storm of ale" proves to be too catchy not to find yourself singing along.

"Oh wow! It's a new video! I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed filming it. It features all the classic elements that people have come to associate with Alestorm: beating up little people, explosions and the Serbian countryside. The song is pretty good too," commented singer / keyboardist Chris Bowes.

The song is culled from Alestorm's forthcoming record, No Grave But the Sea, which will see a May 26 release through Napalm Records. Fans can place their pre-orders at the label's webstore. Standard CD options are available as well as colored vinyl selections and bundle offers which include a polystone figure or rubber duck and still more.
