'Jar of Flies'

Is this ideally what Alice in Chains would have liked to have seen with the packaging? The initial pressing of the band's 'Jar of Flies' EP had plastic flies actually embedded in the spine of the jewel case. But the packaging was eventually changed in 1995 when it was released as a special CD Plus release with computer extras.

As for the artwork, the cover piece was actually a purple/orange photo negative that was taken of the original photo meant for the CD release. Thanks to the clever creator of this GIF, we now get to see those flies in action.
