For a few months now, Alice in Chains have been teasing fans with their eventual return. Now we know the band has a complete summer run of dates ahead of them. While news on a new album has not come as of yet, we can tell you that the band will be on the road in July.

The group just announced a trek that takes up most of the month, kicking off July 6 in Portland, Ore., and running through a July 25 tour finale at New York's Beacon Theater. As you can see in the itinerary listed below, the tour starts in the Pacific Northwest before cutting through Utah and Colorado before hitting the northern Midwest and wrapping on the East Coast. Ticketing info for the run can be found here.

It was also revealed this morning that Alice in Chains will be one of the two headliners of the Monster Energy Rock Allegiance Festival taking place the weekend of Sept. 7 in Chester, Pa.

Alice in Chains have reportedly been working on a new album, but as of yet, no release date or firm album details have been revealed.
