Your favorite vikings are coming back to the United States! To celebrate the band's newest album, 'Deceiver of the Gods,' Amon Amarth have just announced a month-long 2014 U.S. tour with support from Enslaved and Skeletonwitch.

'Deceiver of the Gods' is the ninth album released by the melodic death metallers. Amon Amarth have been making metal for 21 years now, having conquered much of the globe throughout their celebrated career. Coming off a massive run on the 2013 Mayhem Festival, Amon Amarth will return to our shores for a headlining tour, which means a full set awaits us all.

"After our successful part of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival this summer, it is with great confidence we'll be heading back to North America as the headliner in January," says vocalist Johan Hegg. "We are proud and happy to announce that our friends in Enslaved and Skeletonwitch will be supporting us on this raid and pillage tour across the continent! Come and join us for all the fun of a real metal show! WE. SHALL. DESTROY!"

Norwegian progressive black metallers Enslaved will act as Amon Amarth's direct support, with Enslaved coming of their 12th studio album, 'RIITIIR,' which was released in 2012. New school thrash leaders Skeletonwitch will unleash their fifth full-length album, 'Serpents Unleashed,' on Oct. 29, giving fans a bit of time to absorb new material before hearing it live.
