Those who grew up in the ‘80s remember the My Little Pony toys, and they are still being sold today. This September, a convention for fans of the TV show ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ will be held in Ohio. However, if that doesn't excite you enough, party rocker Andrew W.K. will moderate a panel discussion ‘In the Flesh: What Would Pinkie Pie Do?’ at the Canterlot Gardens convention on Sept. 28.

Here’s a description of the panel from the convention website: “Party party party, she wants to have a party! Pinkie Pie is certainly a party animal, but what happens when you can't be a candy-colored pony in an Equestrian world? We break the fourth wall to present Andrew W.K., the artist behind hits 'She Is Beautiful' and 'Party Hard', to answer the dire question: What Would Pinkie Pie Do? Join us for a look into how to make your job as fun as your party, and your party as important as your job.”

Even though the target demo of the show is young girls, it also has a male following who refer to themselves as 'bronies.' Not sure if Andrew W.K. is a bronie or just in it for the cash, but he will be joining luminaries such as Tara Strong (the voice of Twilight Sparkle) during the three day convention to celebrate ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ and characters such as Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Spike the Dragon, Princess Celestia, and of course Pinkie Pie.

When he’s not busy moderating ‘My Little Pony’ panels or partying, Andrew W.K. is a motivational speaker, producer, TV personality and of course, musician. A 10th anniversary reissue of his debut album ‘I Get Wet’ will be released July 17.
