These guitarists have taken a classic rock 'n' roll style and revved it up into a distinct heavy metal style. AC/DC's Angus Young is one of the most purely powerful guitarists in history. As one of the greatest riff masters of all time, Angus plows through iconic tracks like 'Let There Be Rock,' 'Thunderstruck' and 'Back in Black' with a youthful exuberance that he still maintains to this day.

John 5 has lent his shredding abilities for Marilyn Manson, David Lee Roth, Rob Zombie and various others. The man is a true chameleon when it comes to style, having dabbled in bluegrass, country and even flamenco music along with heavy metal. Currently with Zombie, John 5's playing can most recently be heard on 'Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor.'
