Usually old school against new school is pretty interesting, but we're trying to determine the Best Metal Song of the 21st Century, so there's no time for nostalgia in March Metal Madness! Both Anthrax and Disturbed have advanced to Round 2.

Anthrax's "The Devil You Know" edged out Korn's "Here to Stay" in what was a close matchup from the start. The thrash veterans proved they're just as relevant today as they were when they helped pioneer the genre in the '80s and now they have another modern powerhouse to contend with.

Disturbed's anthem "Down With the Sickness" claimed victory over Ghost's "Cirice," which was fresh off a Grammy win. March Metal Madness is only heating up from here and Disturbed need to their fans to come out in full support again if they want to defeat Anthrax.

So which song will move on to the Quarterfinals of March Metal Madness 2016? Listen to both tracks and vote for either Anthrax's "The Devil You Know" or Disturbed's "Down With the Sickness" as the Best Metal Song of the 21st Century in the poll below!

(This poll will end on Tuesday, March 15, at 9AM ET. Fans are able to vote once per hour, so keep coming back to make sure your favorite song wins!)

Anthrax, "The Devil You Know"

Disturbed, "Down With the Sickness"
