A few weeks ago, we told you about the ‘Metal Masters Clinic’ going down Sept. 12 at the Best Buy Theater in New York’s Time Square.  However, things just got a little more exciting.

Not only will Frank Bello of Anthrax, David Ellefson of Megadeth, Kerry King of Slayer and drummer Mike Portnoy be schooling metal fans during the free clinic, but it’s just been announced that thrash heavyweights Anthrax will also be performing at the event! So, if you can’t make it out to the ‘Big 4’ show on Sept. 14 at New York’s Yankee Stadium, this is your chance to see Anthrax live - and it’s free!

The clinic starts at 5PM ET and there’s a few ways to secure your spot. Wristbands will be given out on a first come, first served basis on the day of the event (only) outside the Best Buy Theater.  Each person will be given one wristband and a minimum of 500 will be distributed.

Fans can also pre-order the new Anthrax album ‘Worship Music’ through Best Buy and then go to freesecretshow.com to secure your ticket to the show.

Anthrax will perform at 8PM ET.  If you’re not in the New York area, you can still check out their performance by tuning into the live feed over on Revolvermag.com starting at 7:30PM ET.

Meanwhile, for those that just can’t get enough Anthrax, bassist Frank Bello was recently cast in the upcoming Jeff Buckley biopic ‘Greetings From Tim Buckley.” He portrays punk icon Richard Hell in the film.
