Joey Belladonna's day job is vocalist for legendary thrashers Anthrax, but last night at Lucky Strike in Hollywood, Calif. he tackled a couple Journey songs during the venue's "Jam Night." You can watch him cover "Wheel in the Sky" above and "Stone in Love" below.

Some of the musicians backing up Belladonna included bassist Marty O'Brien (Lita Ford, Tommy Lee) and drummer Matt Starr (Mr. Big, Ace Frehley). Belladonna has sung Journey songs before, most notably "Keep on Runnin'" from Anthrax's 2013 Covers EP.  According to guitarist Scott Ian's autobiography, Belladonna even sang Steve Perry's "Oh Sherrie" in his audition for Anthrax.

When he' s not busy with Anthrax, Belladonna actually fronts a cover band called Chief Big Way. According to their Facebook page, the band plays covers of everyone from Journey to AC/DC to ZZ Top. Some of the other artists they cover include Boston, Cheap Trick, Foreigner, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Collective Soul, the Who, Doors, Shinedown and Bon Jovi. Chief Big Way's next gig is tomorrow night (June 19) in Marcellus, N.Y.

Belladonna has time to do some Chief Big Way shows since Anthrax are currently off the road. They are still working on a new album, and have some festival dates coming up in August and September before embarking on a European tour in October. For their complete concert schedule, go here.
