Mary Ouellette,

Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, an avid fan of AMC’s smash hit ‘The Walking Dead,’ will be sitting in on the cast of the ‘Talking Dead’ after show tonight (March 4). Ian will be joined on the panel by make-up and special effects artist Greg Nicotero and comedian Dana Gould. ‘The Walking Dead’ is based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman and follows the lives of a group of survivors after a zombie apocalypse.

‘Talking Dead’ is a a Q&A type format show where the host Chris Hardwick discusses the new episode with different guests each week while fielding feedback and questions from fans of the show. It airs directly after ‘The Walking Dead’ so check your local listings.

Ian, a fan of the show from the beginning, even went through his own zombie transformation last summer when he was asked to participate in the show. Ian posted a lot of gnarly photos documenting how he went from shred to dead over the course of his transformation, check it out here.

If you want to see Ian’s zombie in action, tune in to ‘The Walking Dead’ webisode series, he appears in episode six at about the 1:44 time stamp. Check it out below and let us know how you think he did in his debut as a creepy walker. We think he was born to be a guitar playing zombie.
