With Season 5 of the FX hit TV show ‘Sons of Anarchy’ set to kick off on Sept. 11, Attika 7 guitarist Rusty Coones has been tapped to join the cast.

Coones, who clearly has the right look, will play nomad charter president Quinn on the show focused around an outlaw motorcycle club constantly challenging the law in the fictional town of Charming, Calif. The character has been referenced since Season 1 but in the new season fans of the show will finally meet the elusive leader.

The part will hit close to home for Coones who is reportedly a founding member of the Orange County chapter of the Hell’s Angels Motorcycle Club and the current President of the San Fernando Valley chapter of the club.

Coones, who spent time behind bars in the early '80s on drug and illegal firearm charges, now operates a custom car and motorcycle business. In addition to his successful business, he also plays guitar in the new band Attika 7 created by former Biohazard vocalist Evan Seinfeld, alongside Tony Campos (Static-X, Soulfly) and Dustin Schoenhofer (Walls of Jericho, Bury Your Dead).

Although the role isn't much of a stretch for Coones, it won’t mark his first stint on TV, he has also appeared on ‘The Devil’s Ride,’ a bike club series on the Discovery Channel.

Attika 7 will be joining the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar festival lineup on several dates of the tour this September. Check out all the dates here.
