In late 2012, the Offspring toured with Dead Sara. During the Offpsring's set, Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara would join the band for a stripped down version of 'Gone Away.' A video of an October performance of the song at a show at the Hollywood Palladium, as well as footage of the pair recording a studio version of the song, has been released (watch below).

Lordi Set To Unleash ‘To Beast or Not To Beast’ in March

The latest album from the Finnish masked maniacs Lordi will be released March 19. 'To Beast or Not To Beast' was recorded at WireWorld Studio in Nashville, Tenn. with producer Michael Wagener (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth). It's the band's first album since the death of drummer Tonmi "Otus" Lillman, who passed away earlier this year.

Mad Season’s ‘Above’ To Be Reissued With New Material in April

The supergroup Mad Season, which included vocalist Layne Staley (Alice in Chains), guitarist Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), bassist John Baker Saunders (The Walkabouts) and drummer/percussionist Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees), released just one album, 1995's 'Above.' Now, a deluxe edition of that album will be released on April 2.

Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel), Austin Carlile (), Cameron "Big Chocolate" Argon and Ricky Hoover (Ex-Suffokate) have all been added to the bill.

Dir En Grey Release New Single ‘Rinkaku’

Japanese metallers Dir En Grey released their latest album 'Dum Spiro Spero' in 2011, but vocalist Kyo had throat problems that caused them to cancel a U.S. tour supporting that album earlier this year. However, he has recovered and the band has issued a new single called 'Rinkaku' (listen below).
