On Saturday (March 7), Self Help Festival returned to San Bernardino for the second year. And while festival founders A Day to Remember weren’t on the bill this year, the all-day show still consisted of a hard-hitting lineup.
This past Monday (May 11) was the 10th annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit, where Ozzy Osbourne was honored by Metallica, Slash and more. In addition to covering the once-in-a-lifetime show, Loudwire was on the red carpet of the event and we were able to speak with Metallica's Kirk Hammett for a very brief interview. On Monday night (May 12), metal fans and philanthropists alike packed Los Angeles' Club Nokia for the 10th annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concert. Proceeds from the event went toward MusiCares’ programs aimed at helping musicians struggling with addiction, and the entire night was filled with success stories from musicians who have overcome their struggles through the work of such programs.
Directly off of a tour of Central and South America supporting Black Sabbath, American thrash legends Megadeth kicked off a string of U.S. tour dates last night (Oct. 29) at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
