In early 2013, we reported on Oblivion Myth guitarist Chris Selby being arrested for attempted murder. Selby allegedly tried pushing Kelly Ramos over a 45-foot-high railing, at one point leaving the woman dangling off. In an exclusive update on the case, we can report that Selby entered a guilty plea to lesser charges, which include two counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of vandalism.

At the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the surviving members of Nirvana put on a performance for the ages. Drummer Dave Grohl, bassist Krist Novoselic and guitarist Pat Smear pounded out a four-song set of Nirvana tunes with a rotation of female vocalists taking on each song. The loss of GWAR frontman and mastermind Dave Brockie (aka Oderus Urungus) sent the metal world into mourning on March 24. Countless tributes have been paid by some of rock and metal's finest musicians along with fans from around the world. In memory of the late frontman, the surviving members of GWAR memorialized their friend and announced the launch of the Dave Brockie Foundation.
