Avenged Sevenfold Axemen Unveil New 2012 Custom Schecter Guitars

Schecter Guitars have just released pictures and specs for their upcoming 2012 Avenged Sevenfold custom models. Created for Avenged guitarists Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates, there will be two brand new model guitars released worldwide in early April.

The new Zacky Vengeance model will keep his trademark ’6661′ logo on the body of the guitar while placing classic Avenged Sevenfold symbols on both the body and the neck. The rosewood neck of the guitar features Zacky’s signature ‘V’ on the 12th fret, skulls on the head of the guitar, the jack plate and a winged-skull on the rings below the guitar’s Seymour Duncan Custom JB pickups.

Due to popular demand, Schecter have also re-issued Zacky’s original ‘Vengeance Custom.’

The upcoming Synyster Gates Custom-S axe will keep the classic pin-striped design featured on his previous custom guitars. The ebony fingerboard will include the classic Avenged “Death Bat” design on the 12th fret, along with the letters S-Y-N on the ninth, seventh and fifth frets. The guitar comes with a whammy bar and a Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge. Seymour Duncan also provides the pickups of the 2012 Synyster Gates Custom-S, with an Invader / Sustainiac combo in the body of the axe.

Avenged Sevenfold are set to invade Asia and the Middle East this spring as well as play Metallica‘s Orion Music + More Festival on June 23 and 24.
