Sacramento, Calif., is the place to be if you're a hard rock fan this September, as the second annual Monster Energy Aftershock Festival is coming to Discovery Park near downtown Sacramento. The 2013 Aftershock bill features California rock favorites Avenged Sevenfold and Korn headlining the two-day festival, which takes place Sept. 14 and 15.

The rock weekend will also feature sets from Shinedown, Megadeth and an additional mystery headliner, as well as Papa Roach, Volbeat, A Day to Remember, HIM, Skillet, Buckcherry, Halestorm, Asking Alexandria, In This Moment, All That Remains, Falling in Reverse, Device, Steel Panther, P.O.D., Pop Evil, Otherwise, Airbourne, SOiL, Heaven's Basement, Nothing More and others.

A special "Pre-Shock" discounted weekend ticket pre-sale will take place from June 4-6 at the Aftershock concert website. During the pre-sale, the ticket prices go up $10 by day, with fans being able to get tickets for $69.50 on Tuesday, June 4; $79.50 on Wednesday, June 5; and $89.50 on Thursday, June 6; so it's best to get your hand on tickets early for this stellar rock weekend.

Regularly priced weekend and single-day tickets as well as VIP and hotel packages go on sale at 10AM PT via Ticketmaster and the Aftershock concert website on June 7.
