When you think of punk rock, you think rebellion and resisting authority, not traditional Christmas songs like 'White Christmas' and 'O Come All Ye Faithful.' Yet, Bad Religion tackle those classics on the upcoming disc 'Christmas Songs,' set to be released Oct. 29, and you can listen to 'O Come O Come Emmanuel' from the album above.

"This might be the most subversive album we've done," Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz says. "To me, what the album is indirectly stating is that this music, and thus the world, can be powerful and beautiful stripped of God and religion. These are just really good songs, and a historically non-religious band like Bad Religion can perform them with as much power and feeling as anyone."

In addition to the Christmas songs, the album features a remix of the song "American Jesus," which originally appeared on 1993's 'Recipe for Hate.' Bad Religion will contribute 20 percent of the proceeds from 'Christmas Songs' to SNAP, Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests. You can pre-order 'Christmas Songs' here.

The punk icons have been touring this year in support of their latest studio album 'True North,' which was released in January. It debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200, the highest first-week chart position in the band's illustrious history.

As far as future tour plans, Bad Religion have confirmed some South American dates in February of 2014. They'll be playing shows in Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
