Battle Royale: Of Mice & Men Debut, But Skillet Remain on Top of Video Countdown
Skillet fans are making sure that the video for their latest single lives up to its title, as the "Feel Invincible" video earned a decisive victory in the latest Battle Royale, topping the video countdown for the second straight week. The bigger fight was for second place, where Sick Puppies' "Stick to Your Guns" edged out James Durbin's "Smackdown" and Shinedown's "Asking for It," which finished third and fourth respectively. As the longest tenured video on the Battle Royale, James Durbin's "Smackdown" will get one final week of voting before being retired regardless of position this next week.
It was a relatively quiet week on the Battle Royale, where many of the clips are holdovers. Only Of Mice & Men's "Pain" cracked the Top 10 for the first time, claiming the No. 8 spot. Meanwhile, Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Dark Necessities" video jumped back in at No. 10 after falling out last week. See the full list of Battle Royale Top 10 videos below.
How will next week's Battle Royale shape up? You've got a wealth of new clips entering the voting, as The Amity Affliction ("This Could Be Heartbreak"), Beartooth ("Hated"), Breaking Benjamin ("Ashes of Eden"), Gojira ("Low Lands"), Letters From the Fire ("Give in to Me"), Motionless in White ("570"), Periphery ("Marigold") and Sinsaenum ("Splendor and Agony") all get their shot. You can see those videos along with every eligible clip by clicking on the links in the poll at the bottom of this post. There you can vote once per hour for your favorites through the deadline of Friday, July 22 at 11AM ET. So vote as often as you like and come back next Friday to see who placed where.
