There's some new blood in the Battle Royale Video Countdown this week. Three new videos claimed spots in the Top 10, with two of those videos making a serious play for No. 1. At No. 1 this week is Shinedown's "Asking for It," the clip where the band does a pretty humorous job of skewering not only themselves but the music industry in the process. A late week surge put them on top over a trio of competitors making this one of the tightest races in recent memory.

Previous Battle Royale champ James Durbin rebounded to No. 2 this week with "Smackdown," also surging late in the week. Monster Truck, a newcomer to the Battle Royale, led for most of the week, but slipped to third with "Don't Tell Me How to Live." And Sick Puppies also put up a fight for the top spot, but ultimately settled for fourth with "Stick to Your Guns." The other debut of note this week is Nonpoint's "Generation Idiot," which claimed the No. 10 spot. See the full Battle Royale Top 10 below.

And while three new clips crashed the Top 10, could there be more newbies ready to claim spots. Videos from Blink-182 ("Bored to Death"), Bring Me the Horizon ("Avalanche"), Bush ("People At War"), Every Time I Die ("The Coin Has a Say"), Gone Is Gone ("Stolen From Me"), Islander ("Bad Guy"), Red Hot Chili Peppers ("Dark Necessities") and Tarja ("Innocence") have all been added to the voting for the next Battle Royale. See those videos along with every eligible video by clicking on the links in the poll at the bottom of this post. You can vote once per hour through the deadline of Friday, July 1 at 11AM ET, so make it count.
