Battlecross vs. Testament – Death Match
In a very close battle between two of modern thrash’s most prominent acts, Battlecross were able to defeat their contemporaries in Skeletonwitch. This marks one win for Battlecross in our Death Match arena, but the men from Michigan have a very difficult task ahead of them.
Thrash bands don’t come much more legendary than Testament, who have spent 30 years pioneering the genre. The Bay Area icons are set to release their ‘Dark Roots of Thrash’ live DVD on Oct. 15, and to promote the new offering, Testament have put out an official live music video for ‘Rise Up.’
Can Battlecross summon up the vigor to defeat Testament? Or will the legendary thrash act come up with a win of biblical proportions? Your votes decide which band moves on. Choose your favorite track in the poll below!
