The inaugural Loudwire Music Awards are shaping up to be one rocking night, so why not expand the fun to two nights? Loudwire will whet your appetite for the main event with one raucous Kickoff Party taking place at the Regent Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Oct. 23, the night prior to the Loudwire Music Awards.

Beartooth, Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes, Bloodclot, Royal Thunder and King Woman are all set to play the Kickoff Party, with each of the bands also nominated in the Breakthrough Band of the Year category in the Loudwire Music Awards.

"As the Leonardo DiCaprio of rock award shows, we in Beartooth are very excited to take part in the kickoff party for the Loudwire Awards,” says Beartooth bassist Oshie Bichar, adding, “So we can at least say we accomplished something!”

"I cannot wait to fly the flag for British music at the Loudwire kickoff party!" chimes in Frank Carter, adding, “Our last U.S. tour was carnage and this next trip will be just as crazy. It's an honour to be nominated for two awards this year and be recognized among so many incredible bands! See you all soon!"

Sirius XM Octane host Jose Mangin will emcee the show and broadcast live from the kickoff party. Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday (Aug. 25) and are available for just $20 at this location. For more information on the bands playing the Loudwire Kickoff Party, check here.

And after the stellar lineup for the Kickoff Party help set the table, it will be time for the Loudwire Music Awards taking place on Oct. 24 at the Novo in downtown Los Angeles. WWE superstar and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho will serve as the host for the night, with Judas Priest's Rob Halford receiving the Lemmy Lifetime Achievement Award and Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi receiving the Courage Award.

The night will also include performances from Anthrax, Body Count, Halestorm, Starset, Nothing More and Power Trip, with Halford also putting in a guest performance. More acts will be announced to play in the lead up to the Loudwire Music Awards. And, of course, we will also reveal the winners from this year's Loudwire Music Awards voting. You can go ahead and let your voice be heard by voting in all 14 categories at this location. Three of the categories -- Breakthrough Band, Hard Rock Song and Metal Song of the Year -- will be determined by Apple Music streaming data during the voting window.

Tickets for the 2017 Loudwire Music Awards are currently on sale, so be sure to circle Oct. 24 on your calendar and go ahead and get your tickets here.
