Billy Corgan, or William Patrick Corgan as he's billed on his upcoming album, is embracing the marketing power of social media in the lead up to his Ogilala solo release. The musician has been setting up Facebook Live posts daily where he plays the piano at his Madame Zuzu's tea house in Chicago, delivering something special for online viewers. The most recent posting, seen above, found Corgan pulling out the rarely performed Siamese Dream deep cut "Sweet Sweet" for viewers.

The gorgeous song continues to impact with only the piano instrumentation, but you can forgive Corgan for being a little rusty and needing his iPad for lyrics as the track hasn't been played live since a September 1994 performance.

Recent Corgan performances have included "Daydream / Snail," "Vanilla" and the Ogilala single "Aeronaut" among others. You can see all of those performances below, and head to Corgan's Facebook page to view additional performances beyond those posted below.

If you like what you hear of "Aeronaut," it's available for download in its studio form here, where you can also pre-order the Ogilala album ahead of its Oct. 13 release. You can also catch the singer playing shows in support of the run. Stops can be found here.

Meanwhile, Corgan also has a film project in the works called Pillbox. The singer penned the script and also co-directed the piece with Linda Strawberry. The movie is a silent film soundtracked by Corgan's Ogilala music. "I thought it was a different approach to listening to an album, to watch it in essence with a related, albeit non-linear, silent movie. Art is art. And together the two pieces create a work unto itself," shared Corgan on the film's connection to his new album.

You can watch a trailer below soundtracked by Corgan and if you're in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and London, there will also be screenings in early October. Get dates and details here.
