Billy Idol will kick off 2015 in grand fashion, rocking stages across North America in late January and February. The iconic rocker with the whiplash smile will kick off the run beginning Jan. 21 in New Orleans, with dates booked through a Feb. 18 tour leg finale in Los Angeles.

Idol is kicking off the 'Kings & Queens of the Underground Live' world tour in Europe this November before heading stateside. The album, also titled 'Kings & Queens of the Underground,' will arrive in stores on Oct. 21. This marks Idol's first new album release in nearly a decade and you can already stream the single 'Can't Break Me Down' at Spotify.

Tickets for the tour dates go on sale this Friday (Oct. 10), with the exception of the Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver dates, which will go on sale the following Friday (Oct. 17). Upstart rockers Broncho will appear as special guests at each of the North American dates.

And while there is reason to look ahead for Idol, there's also plenty going on for the rocker this week. Idol's new autobiography, 'Dancing With Myself,' hits shelves tomorrow (Oct. 7), and the singer is making the rounds to promote the effort. He just appeared on 'CBS Sunday Morning' in a feature and has appearances booked this week on NBC's Today Show (Oct. 7), the Howard Stern Show (Oct. 8) and he'll be interviewed during a keynote event at the CBGB Music and Film Festival in New York City on Oct. 9.
