Black Label Society have had a lot of great songs over the years, but 'My Dying Time' has the distinction of being the first track from the group to ever be retired into the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. The track ran the gamut, knocking off five consecutive competitors in order to achieve the honor.

Zakk Wylde and company began their run by knocking off defending champ Five Finger Death Punch and their cover of 'House of the Rising Sun.' BLS emerged the victor in a tight battle with 52 percent of the final tally. Things were relatively close in their second Cage Match, as they ousted Hellyeah's 'Sangre Por Sangre (Blood for Blood).'

Black Stone Cherry's 'Me and Mary Jane' was no match for 'My Dying Time,' but Alter Bridge's 'Cry of Achilles' gave the track a run for its money with the closest match since the opening battle. Theory of a Deadman's 'Drown' was the final Black Label Society victim, with BLS earning a decisive victory.

Our congrats to Black Label Society's 'My Dying Time' on joining the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame! To see all of the past Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame entries, click the button below.
