Black Mask, ‘Tormented’ – Exclusive Video Premiere

We’ve got an exclusive premiere to share with you from Pennsylvanian hardcore / metal upstarts Black Mask. From the band’s second 7″ record, ‘Lost Below,’ we’ve got the new track ‘Tormented’ ready to bust your speakers along with the song’s official music video.

Black Mask formed in the spring of 2012, making a name for themselves by touring heavily. Although the group is less than two years old, Black Mask has performed over 250 shows in eight countries. The band’s first release, a self-titled 7″ put out by Get This Right Records, was followed by a 2013 full-length album released in Europe. Today (Feb. 4), Black Mask released ‘Lost Below,’ along with this new video for ‘Tormented.’

Set in a black and white background, Black Mask pummel through ‘Tormented,’ only letting up for an incredibly dirty instrumental outro with a spoken-word audio sample. “This black and white video envelopes all light in a poisonous shroud of blinding darkness,” says singer Mike Stello. “The song grinds you through distorted passages of chaos and fury.”

For fans of Napalm Death, Cursed, Disfear or Trap Them, Black Mask delivers a must-listen piece of crunchy hardcore violence. Check out the video for ‘Tormented’ above.
