Bret Michaels is expanding his brand and will be reaching consumers in multiple ways with two new business ventures.  He's taking everything he learned on 'Celebrity Apprentice' a step further and launching separate instrument and pet product lines.

First off, the bandana-favoring singer/guitarist will perform live on the Home Shopping Network tonight (Oct. 2). Michaels will play six acoustic songs to help promote a new line of guitars he is offering via the retail giant. Michaels will perform at 8 p.m. ET on the nose. So take a break from what watching a day's worth of football to enjoy a little rock.

The live performance will be viewable on HSN and at HSN.com. Be sure to tune in and watch Michaels as he plays an assortment of hits. Additionally, the rocker will debut his Signature Acoustic Guitars at the time. If you are so inspired by his performance and feel the urge to pick up an axe and play,  you can pre-order the guitars.

HSN isn't the only retail outlet that Michaels has partnered up with. In fact, one might even say that he has "petnered" up, since he plans to launch a line of pet products at PetSmart in 2012. The collection is dubbed "Bret Michaels Pets Rock," and the items will be available for purchase next summer in nearly 1200 stores nationally.

“As a dedicated pet owner myself, this is a natural partnership for me, and I can’t wait to unveil the collection. I know my own pets rock, and I wanted to design a line of pet products every bit as fun and cool as they are," Michaels said in a statement about this new retail venture. In a culture where pet costumes, pet clothes and toting pets in high-end designer carry-alls are more prevalent than ever, it's pretty genius of the 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn" singer to design cool, hip products for our four-legged friends.

Maybe Michaels will create red leashes that mimic his signature bandana?
