English metal maniacs Bring Me the Horizon have offered a fresh update about the status of their upcoming album.

Via an official Facebook post, the band revealed that it will start writing material in about a month. BMTH are considerably psyched about diving right into the process, especially since they've amassed some new gadgets to assist with their mission.

The band even shared some details on what type of equipment it would be playing with while writing and recording. While that's somewhat promotional in nature, it's also valuable, especially to fans who are musicians. That information could certainly prove useful to aspiring band dudes in their quest to make music. If Bring Me the Horizon endorse a product, it's certainly worth a look.

The text of the Facebook update is as follows:

"4 more weeks and we will be beginning the writing sessions for our new album! got heaps of new toys to try out some new sounds and ideas. check out the gear over at Toontrack and TC Electronic. we're using toontrack's Metalheads drums/EZ drummer software to write all the drums and TC's nova delay & reverb and G-systems to mess with some sick guitar sounds."

Sick guitar sounds? That's what we like to hear.
