Ever since GWAR frontman Dave Brockie (aka Oderus Urungus) passed away last week, various tributes have been paid, but this one is by far the most delicious. Vinnie's Pizzeria in Brooklyn, N.Y. altered their menu to include GWAR-inspired pies!

In late 2011, the metal world lost GWAR guitarist Cory Smoot (aka Flattus Maximus). Just over two years later, Brockie died on March 23, 2014, sending a shock through the metal community. As of now, no cause of death has been confirmed, but due to evidence found at the scene of Brockie's passing, the case is being explored as drug-related.

Some of rock and metal's greatest musicians memorialized Brockie after learning of his death, including Philip Anselmo, Maynard James Keenan, Randy Blythe and many others. However, Vinnie's Pizzeria have taken their tribute to the oven.

The GWARogi slice mixes potato pierogi, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and sour cream with a side of apple sauce. If you want to grab an Oderus UrFungus, you'll receive sliced mushroom, sausage, white onions, green peppers and provolone cheese. Finally, the Dave Brockieli contains chopped broccoli, soy teriyaki chicken and soy cheddar + mozzarella topped off with sesame seeds.

We raise our horns in salute of both Vinnie's Pizzeria and, of course, Dave Brockie.
