During guitar extraordinaire Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal’s recent visit to our studio, the former Guns N’ Roses shredder accepted our challenge to rock a Hello Kitty mini guitar! In this must-see clip, Bumblefoot performs classics from Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and more!

If you enjoyed our Mike Portnoy or Zakk Wylde Hello Kitty sessions, you’ll absolutely love Bumblefoot’s performance. Like past Hello Kitty segments, we gave the artist an instrument and invited them to let loose. In Bumblefoot’s case, he treated us to a 25-minute jam session and we’re sharing our favorite moments with you!

You know all about Bumblefoot’s chops as a guitarist, but Mr. Thal is an amazing singe,r as well! We dare you not to be impressed by his take on the vocals of Ronnie James Dio and even Rage Against the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha. Bumble wasn’t shy to try anything and everything that crossed his mind, even when Rob Halford’s falsettos from “Victim of Changes” presented a challenge most mortal men would not dare accept.

We’d like to thank Bumblefoot for not only taking on our Hello Kitty challenge! Watch Bumblefoot jam your favorite rock and metal classics on his Hello Kitty mini guitar in the clip above!

Bumblefoot will be joining Metal Allegiance for a special performance at Brooklyn’s St. Vitus venue on Aug. 11! The band will be performing Deep Purple’s legendary Made in Japan live album in its entirety along with a bunch of other favorites from the rock and metal realm. A limited amount of tickets are still available, so click here to come hang out with us for a night of world class music!
