Up-and-coming British rockers Cage the Gods are ready for their U.S. breakout and they're hoping to pave the way with their 'Badlands' album. In advance of the album's release, the group is teaming with Loudwire to exclusively debut the title track off the album (listen above).

Cage the Gods connect right out of the gate with this gritty rocker. Colin Jones' slow-building drum intro leads right into Peter Comerford's impressively powerful vocal opening. From there, 'Badlands' is filled with some solid twin guitar work and blistering solos from Comerford and James 'Jam' Moncur, a cool mid-song breakdown with Jones and killer low end from bassist Mitch Witham.

Though still relatively new in terms of tenure (they formed in 2012), Cage the Gods have honed in their sound rather quickly and they're ready to take the next big step. Comerford states, "If there isn't room for us in the rock scene, then we'll make room."

So clear a path for Cage the Gods, and be sure to look for their 'Badlands' albums in stores March 25 via The End Records. Pre-orders are currently being taken at this location. And you can look for the band on tour in Germany early in March, with a couple of U.S. dates to follow toward the end of the month. See their current itinerary here.
