Cannibal Corpse are nothing short of death metal icons and veterans, letting people know exactly what they sound like by sheer utterance of their band name. They're set to release their upcoming fourteenth studio album, Red Before Black, on Nov. 3, and to get a better sense of what their disc is like, the group have premiered their title track, via Metal Sucks.

Like most of the band's discography, the song charges a ton of energy to cause some surefire destruction upon all who come into contact with the song. Melodically, it's a death metal stampede, with the band hammering out gutteral riffs, delivering high stakes drumming and belting extreme vocals courtesy of frontman George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. It's an explosive song that packs a punch, and keeps the band at the same pace as the rest of death metal's conversation.

Bassist Alex Webster says of the album, "Throughout our career we've tried to improve the precision of both our musical execution and our album production, while still maintaining full-on aggression. 'Red Before Black' continues in that direction, but might go even further on the aggressive side of things. It's definitely precise, but it has a rawness to it that goes beyond anything we've done recently."

"We really worked super hard crafting these songs, practicing them, and getting them where we wanted to be more so than on any of our previous albums," adds drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz. "And as Alex said, musically I think it's the most raw sound we've had - and at the same time I think it's our most focused, tightest and catchiest record."

You can also check out a previously released song from the album, "Code of the Slashers." Red Before Black will be released once again through Metal Blade and on that very same day (Nov. 3) Cannibal Corpse kick off their tour with Power Trip and Gatecreeper.
