Just what the doctor ordered! Devious medical malpractitioners Carcass will be linking up with ethereal black metal outfit Deafheaven for a truly unique co-headlining run across North America this fall. Support on the jaunt will come from Inter Arma.

Carcass recently wrapped up a headlining run with Crowbar and Ghoul, but the road warriors will be back out on tour for a nearly three week trek that kicks off in Baton Rouge, La. on Nov. 7. The tour, brandishing the slogan "A Matrimony Made... In Sickness and in Hell," will then work its way to Florida and up the East Coast before finishing up in Madison, Wis. on Nov 27.

Supporting their stellar 2013 comeback effort, Surgical Steel, Carcass have experienced an incredible resurgence after disbanding between 1995 and 2007. Mixing in fresh new cuts like "Cadaver Pouch Conveyor System," "The Granulating Dark Satanic Mills" and more with the old staples in "Heartwork" and "Corporal Jigsore Quandary," the band has been positively ripping it up on tour.

Deafheaven will provide quite the sonic contrast to Carcass, melding dreamy soundscapes with their cascadian brand of black metal, perhaps acting as the trance-inducing anesthesia before the British gore-hounds begin to operate. Their third record, New Bermuda, was a brilliant follow-up to their breakthrough album Sunbather.

Sludgy, blackened post-metallers Inter Arma will serve as the opening act on each night of the tour, promoting their third effort, Paradise Gallows, which was released in July earlier this year.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday, Aug. 26 at 10AM local time. Check out a full list of dates below.
