After roughly two million votes cast throughout our Greatest Metal Drummer tournament, a winner has finally been chosen by fans all over the world! We started out with 32 of metal's most legendary and influential drummers, but when it came down to the championship round, Slipknot / Scar the Martyr stickman Joey Jordison was voted Greatest Metal Drummer.

It's finally time! After starting out with 32 of metal's all-time greatest drummers nearly a month ago, we've made it to the final round! After hundreds of thousands of votes cast in our semifinals, Pantera / Hellyeah drummer Vinnie Paul enters the final round to take on Slipknot's Joey Jordison.

We started with 32 of metal's all-time greatest drummers, but after three rounds, 28 legendary percussionists have been eliminated. There are now four remaining competitors in our fan-voted competition to find the Greatest Metal Drummer.

The Technical Masters Division of our Greatest Metal Drummer tournament has been fierce to say the least, and in the semifinal round, two celebrated stickmen now battle for a spot in the finals.

Our first matchup in the semifinals of our Greatest Metal Drummer tournament brings two veteran skin bashers together. Both of these men are renowned for bringing a tremendous amount of character to their music, earning them legions of fans in the process.
