Favorite Slipknot Song – Readers Poll


It all began back in the late '90s when Slipknot, a bunch of masked marauders out of the Midwest, injected the metal scene with exactly the kick in the pants it had been needing. After a week of rumors, AC/DC confirmed that there were key elements of truth in some of the gossip that had been swirling around. In a statement, they confirmed that guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young (seen at right above with brother Angus) was taking a break from the band due to ill health. However, the talk that this would lead to the band retiring was premature, as they also confirmed they would continue making music.

‘Nirvana’ Rock Hall Performances: Historic or Sacrilegious? – Readers Poll

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has inducted Nirvana, and the surviving members of the band marked the occasion by strapping on their instruments and rocking with a contingent of female frontwomen at the induction ceremony in Brooklyn, N.Y.
