A big time kudos to Chevelle, the latest band to enter the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. The band accomplished the feat with their recent single, 'Hunter Eats Hunter,' as the track gobbled up the competition over five straight Cage Match victories.

The run began as the track ousted defending champ Crobot and their song 'Nowhere to Hide' with 63 percent of the vote. That would prove to be their easiest victory of the five, with most of the Cage Match competitions going down to the final day. Godsmack's '1000hp' was the next to face Chevelle, but 'Hunter Eats Hunter' drained their power with 56 percent of the vote.

Slash's 'World on Fire' put up a fight, but the track was extinguished with 56 percent of the final tally. The same thing happened with Fozzy's 'Lights Go Out,' as 'Hunter Eats Hunter' left them in the dark with 56 perfect of the vote. And finally, Slipknot's 'The Devil in I' fell short as Chevelle claimed 57 percent of the vote.

Our congrats to Chevelle as 'Hunter Eats Hunter' is the latest inductee into the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. To see the previous entrants, click the button below.
