With the release of their new album ‘Chickenfoot III’ coming this Tuesday (Sept. 27), the almighty Chickenfoot have fans buzzing with the announcement of their first live shows in support of the new music.

Dubbed ‘The 2011 Road Test Tour,’ the 'Foot will take the new album to the streets of San Francisco, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Chicago and New York City in early November. The band won’t be announcing the actual venues until Oct. 3 but you can find the dates below.  Tickets will go on sale on Oct. 3, as well.

This tour run will be the band’s first opportunity to play the new music live, and to break in drummer Kenny Aronoff, filling in for Chad Smith while he’s away working with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's a short list with only five dates so hopefully the band will add more.

For fans not in the cities announced, you can tune in on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 9PM ET/6PM PT to catch the band perform tracks from the new album during a live concert webcast called ‘Chickenfoot Presents III.’ As we previously reported, the band will host a thirty minute Q&A session along with the debuting the songs live on the day of the album's release.
