Supergroup Chickenfoot are set to release their new album ‘Chickenfoot III’ on Sept. 27. On that very same day, the band  -- singer Sammy Hagar, guitar guru Joe Satriani, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and touring drummer Kenny Aronoff -- is inviting fans to participate in a very special free live concert webcast at 6PM PT.

During the live webcast, Chickenfoot will perform tracks from the new album and answer fan submitted questions via a 30 minute Q&A session.

An excited Hagar is encouraging fans to participate. “These are exciting times,” reports Hagar. “When a band can have the technology to allow them to perform in a state-of-the-art setting and take that performance out around the world is amazing! I’m up for that!”

Fans who are up for it can submit their questions for the ‘Foot to be included in the live Q&A session at www.chickenfoot.us, leading up to the live webcast.

If you’re looking for something even a little more intimate, Chickenfoot have hinted that they’ll be inviting a few fans to be members of the live in-studio audience at TRI Studios in Marin County, Calif., through their social sites, so stay tuned and put your best 'foot' forward!

For fans who can’t tune into the live event, the webcast will rebroadcast on the band’s website on Sept. 28 at noon PT.

'Chickenfoot III' is the follow up to the band's debut 2009 self-titled release. If you're wondering what happened to 'Chickenfoot II,' well, so are we!  Maybe someone can raise that question during the webcast!
