No. 11: Children of Bodom, ‘Everytime I Die’ – Top 21st Century Metal Songs

Finnish metal masters Children of Bodom have composed an incredible amount of symphonic metal tracks. Having released five albums since the year 2000, choosing the single-best Bodom track is difficult, but our vote goes to 'Everytime I Die' from the 'Follow the Reaper' record.

With a slower pace showcased by the blazing and ultra-technical band, 'Everytime I Die' feels different from any other Bodom song. Insane solos are a staple of Children of Bodom's music, but the guitar and keyboard work in 'Everytime I Die' goes deeper than the normal Bodom shred-fest. It's a key track for Bodom, and crucial listening for 21st Century metal.
