On the eve of the 'Parks and Devastation' tour, Chiodos have announced the departure of bassist Matt Goddard and drummer Derrick Frost. The band says they decided to leave to pursue personal interests and that the parting is amicable. Joining Chiodos are bassist Joe Troy (RX Bandits) and drummer Thomas Pridgen (Mars Volta, Suicidal Tendencies).

The band says, “We are excited and gearing up for The Parks and Devastation Tour that starts on Thursday, Sept. 4 with A Day to Remember, Bring Me the Horizon and Motionless In White. Before we hit the road we have some both exciting and unfortunate news. Derrick Frost and Matt Goddard have both chosen to discontinue touring and recording but instead spend more time with their loved ones and pursue other interests at home."

Their statement continues, "It's been a long and great journey with both of these gentleman, Matt dating back to the very beginning, and Derrick a part of three albums with us. We wish them the best in all that they choose to do moving forward. They've been long time brothers to us and always will be."

"Our good friends Thomas Pridgen and Joe Troy are coming to rock with us," Chiodos reveal. "We have been rehearsing like crazy in Michigan so get ready for a great show. We're very excited to have them join us on this journey as we've always been fans of their musicianship. We can't wait for you all to experience this with us as we continue to tour and write new material. See you at a city near you soon!”

Chiodos have also released a new video. '3 AM,' seen above, is the latest track from the 'Devil' album. The disc was released in April and landed at No. 12 on the Billboard chart its opening week.
